The filing deadline for candidates running for the unified school board is fast approaching (April 3rd) and the start of candidate petitions for municipal districts is exactly 2 months away (starts May 23rd, ends August 21st).  Also for those that want to vote in the Shelby County Primary, if you do NOT have your voter ID card,please take a moment to register so that you can vote in a couple of important elections, the County Mayoral primary and the county board primary.  It can take up to 30 days to register so send it in by April 6th at the LATEST to get your voter ID card back in time to vote in the primary.
